Our Pastor:

  Dr. Charles (Chuck) R. Jolley

Chuck came to Main Street Baptist Church on September 1, 1999.  

He has served two other churches in Virginia: Elon Baptist Church in Madison Heights from 1983 to 1999 and Childrey Baptist Church in Nathalie from 1980 to 1983.

Prior to coming to Virginia he served Faison Baptist Church in Faison, NC from 1977 to 1980.

He is a graduate of Western Carolina University, Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, and Luther Rice Seminary.  

Before entering the ministry Chuck taught Chemistry and Physics on the High School level.

Chuck has been married to Kathy since 7/11/1970. They have two daughters: Lara and Sara.  Lara is married to Keith Tan and they have three children: Rachel, Jordan, and Caedmon.  Sara is married to Jim Peterson and they have three children: Jack, Anna, and Katherine.

Chuck has many interests: music, photography, reading, and motorcycle riding are just a few.

Our Church Secretary:

         Doris Young

Doris has been with the church since January of 1986.

She is a tremendously valuable member of the ministry team at Main Street.

She is married to Donald Young and they have one daughter, Sara, who has two children: Michael and Nicholas.
